Plays

My Plays have been featured at Ars Nova, The Fire This Time Festival, HERE Arts Center, The Flea Theater and more. They’re also cheap to produce if you wanna produce one!

ROOM 4
The Academy Awards has a race problem. It’s big. But the four black actors in Room 4 aren’t particularly concerned with that, because they have a much bigger problem at hand. They’ve just realized they’re stuck in a time loop, auditioning for the same “Drug Dealer #2” role over and over. What once felt like a messed-up metaphor has become a literal existential nightmare. Get them out of there!

To All My Supporters

A scandal has broken out in the small town of Biggotsville! Something unspeakable happened at the town hall debate! Now two campaign workers wonder if they should do damage control or simply resign as they wait to see if their candidate will come into the office.

One Morning Soon
Playwright Niccolo Aeed uses the killing of a Messiah as a springboard to explore how a religion can twist and change from its roots. Told mostly through letters (inspired by the epistles in the New Testament) this work asks us to consider what it means to be saved. Filmed at The Fire This Time Festival at the Kraine Theater.

The Night Club

Comedians get five minutes on stage. If they do good, they get to come back. If they're lucky, they might get a free drink. Sometimes they think they should stop doing this, but then again anyone would be thankful to perform at The Night Club.

While a full show plays out onstage, the audience will see the comedians plotting and conspiring in the wings to get the respect they know they deserve. Will they finally be able to take a stand?

Unpacking: A Ghost Story Told in the Dark

A happy couple has just moved into their new home. But the novelty of homeownership quickly fades as they face a sea of boxes, a major blackout, and, shortly thereafter, the ghosts of all their past relationships.

Marina & Nicco combine two of your biggest fears: the dark and commitment.  The audience lends a hand by lighting the stage for a couple that is literally, and figuratively, feeling their way through the dark.

Serials (2018 to 2022)

The Serials program is a serialized playwriting competition, in which the audience watches 10-minute episodes of 5 different plays and votes back their favorite three to see the next installment the following week. Some of my favorites that were repeatedly brought back by audeinces was I Killed a Man, Why Shouldn’t I Eat You? and Devils
